One of the activities accompanying the exhibition "Light in the Darkness of WWI: The Highest Achievements of the Protagonists of Impressionism in Serbia" was the promotion of the homonymous publication. Ljubica Miljković, author of the publication and advisor at The National Museum of Serbia in Belgrade, led a guided tour of the exhibition.

Dealing with the emergence of Impressionism in Serbia at the beginning of the 20th century, in the circumstances surrounding the Balkan Wars and the First World War, the author gave a detailed presentation of its development stages and presented the oeuvres of Nadežda Petrović, Milan Milovanović, Kosta Milićević and Mališa Glišić, the movement pioneers and leading protagonists in Serbia.

Along with Ljubica Miljković as the author of the publication, art historians Vidosava Grandić (Banja Luka) and Nikola Kusovac (Belgrade) also spoke at the promotion.
