In an event accompanying the “Parallels” exhibition hosted at the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska, on 25 January the exhibiting artists took visitors on a tour of their works.

It was an opportunity for MSURS visitors to hear artists Slobodan Vidović and Radoslav Tadić speak about the artistic processes they go through in making their works, and their own intepretation of their latest pieces from the “Parallels” project, most of which on display for the first time.

On this occasion the visitors learned more about the exhibition concept from its curator Žana Vukičević, as well as about this being an effort to offer a parallel reading of the two artists’ work, thereby also a possible insight into the position of contemporary painting practices in the region.
