At the invitation of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Forum of Slavic Cultures, the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska took part in the XX International Festival “Intermuseum 2018”, the biggest event in Russia showcasing the work of museums.

As part of the opening ceremony of the Stone building and formalisation of the completion of construction works on the renovated part of the Kastel fortress, the exhibition ''On the Modernist Road: Misirlić, Simić, Ćurić, Štaljo'' was opened on the 19th of April. The exhibition was produced by the Museum of Contemporary Art of Republic of Srpska and the Cultural Center Banski Dvor.

"Space, Form, Touch" is the first exhibition organised in this region that is fully adjusted for the blind and visually impaired. It is a project of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska implemented with the professional assistance of the Typhlological Museum in Zagreb.

The exhibition "EXCEPTIONALITIES: Contemporary Aspects of Cultural Heritage/The New Trends of the Future Permanent Exhibition" was staged in honour of the tenth anniversary of The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska, marked on 10 February.

The exhibition "Multioriginals" includes prints, photographs, digital prints and videos from the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska by more than fifty artists from different generations, whose work is connected with Bosnia and Herzegovina, that which was once "Yugoslav art", and Europe’s and wider international art scene in the second half of the 20th century.
