of Republic of Srpska

The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska celebrated its day with a news conference and release of "Inventory 2014", a publication with a summary of the wide range of MSURS activities in 2014.

"Inventory 2014" is an overview of the exhibitions staged and projects implemented by MSURS in cooperation with kindred institutions in the region, such as the National Museum of Serbia in Belgrade, the Gallery of Matica Srpska in Novi Sad, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, etc.

In 2014, MSURS was visited by such prominent guests as His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and Chris Dercon, director of Tate Modern in London, and it also won its first international recognition award in the frame of the international Živa Award. These were only some of the events which marked the year in which the Museum celebrated a major jubilee, ten years since it was renamed the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska.

This was an opportunity for MSURS to thank the media and individuals who helped and supported its work in 2014, raising its visibility and providing it with the support it needed to achieve its goals and carry out its activities as planned.
