In September 2012, an team of professionals from the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska started an initiative to discuss with their colleagues from relevant institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and finally develop a model for the country’s active participation in the Venice Biennale.
The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska celebrated its day on 10 February by hosting an official presentation of the Pavilion of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which it organised for the 55th International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Venice.
After being absent for ten years, Bosnia and Herzegovinа took part in the 55th Venice Biennale with the exhibition “The Garden of Delights” by the Banja Luka-based artist Mlаden Miljаnović.
