In an event jointly organised by MSURS and the U.S. Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the internationally renowned Native American dance group "Yellow Bird Productions" gave a unique performance on the platform in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska.
"Yellow Bird Productions" is a group of professional dancers led by Ken Duncan, member of the San Carlos Apache tribe. The group gathers more than 15 dancers from the Arikara, Hidatsa and Apache tribes, who celebrate the unique spirit of Native Americans in their performances. Their traditional dances, stories and games represent an authentic cultural experience, through which they share their knowledge of the importance of the environment, preservation of life in nature and cultural diversity.
Except for Banja Luka, "Yellow Bird Productions" performed in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Brčko and Bijeljina during their first visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
