For the eighth consecutive time, the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska celebrated the international events of the European Night of Museums and the International Museum Day.
The theme of this year’s International Museum Day, “Museums (Memory + Creativity) = Social Change”, promotes the wealth of the historical heritage safeguarded by museums and the necessity for them to reconcile their mission, as seen traditionally, with creativity, for the purpose of the growth and transformation of both museum visitors and society.
This year, the programme of the Night of Museums included the exhibition “I Can Be Outrageously Patient” curated by Dr.Sc. Predrаg Terzić, a selection of the latest art practices dominating the art scene in the Republic of Srpska today.
The lineup in the music part of the event included the pop band JINX and DJ Woodie, who played on the platform in front of the MSURS.
