This exhibition, which was held at The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska, showed the international project "Time Being Time", a product of the cooperation between Banja Luka’s Miodrag Manojlović, artist and professor at the University for Business Studies in Banja Luka, and Bjørn Hegardt, a Norwegian artist, curator, founder and editor of the FUKT Magazine for contemporary drawing.

The exhibition was a second event at MSURS by Hegardt, after a lecture he gave on the topic of animation and presented the Fukt Magazine at The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska two years earlier, which was particularly important for Banja Luka’s students and young artists interested in research in the field of drawing and animation.

The exhibition presented the works of 15 mostly young artists from Japan, Korea, China, Germany, Norway, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, Serbia and the Republic of Srpska. What all these artists have in common is an interest in drawing and animation as a powerful and creative means of artistic expression. Banja Luka’s Miodrag Manojlović, Nenad Malešević and Radenko Milak also showed their works in the exhibition.

The name of the exhibition, "Time Being Time", points out time as a category that is the focus of interest of these artists, who use different approaches to experiment with art in an attempt to transfer their individual understanding of time, trying to capture and present time as a momentary, current category, along with some peculiarities that stem from their different backgrounds. Also, time as a determinant is relevant in the sphere of drawing as a medium, as it implies the slowness and meticulousness of the process of creation of drawings and animations, which in itself represents an act of exploration of time, of recording valuable and elusive moments that slip away.
